Removing Fields on Posts
Ok, so I've only just set up my vBulletin boards so I'm a complete n00b - so please don't hate all over me.
At the moment when someone posts, under their avatar it shows things like: Antione! is online now Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: Pennsylvania Posts: 4 Antione! is on a distinguished road Rep Power: 0 Send a message via AIM to Antione! Send a message via MSN to Antione! How do I get rid of some of these fields from display (eg the "Online now" bit, Join Date, Location etc)? Please talk it through in detail as I am a n00b. Many thanks. |
You can find those in postbit or postbit_legacy templates, depending on what layout you use on the site.
postbit = that info across the top of the post. postbit_legacy = down the left hand side of the post. |
Retarded question #2.
How do I access the postbit templates? Are they in a folder/part of a php file? |
Admin CP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > find your style in the list > Edit Templates > Expand All to see all the templates - <<>>
You may be interested in looking through the manual that is linked in my signature. |
