Ok, it's finally time for me to post this over to review. I've been running VB for over 3 years on this site and I've had my current design for about a year with some recent updates. I think it's time for me to push for design changes to help me move into the Big Board territory in the next 12 months.

I'm not fishing for anything except for open and honest feedback that will get me results. -- A cleaner and easier to use site that catches people's attention faster, enables a better exchange of ideas and media and something that stands out from the crowd.

Hey I like it alot, Very clean and simple. But one change is that I would put a icon on the top bar. Its called a fav.ico . 16 by 16 and I think that would be the incing on the cake.

I like the site well enough, but I'll try and offer some honest, and hopefully helpful, critiques.

I've never been a big fan of gallery images before the meat and potatoes of the forum. I've always been of the mind that the good stuff?the forum and its postings that people come for?should be as much "above the fold" as possible.

Various icons are still the vB defaults, despite using a custom skin. The ones that jump out at me right away are the whos_online, stats, subforum and the forum link icons. There might be more hanging about. That's the fault of whoever designed the theme. It's a good enough looking design, but it always screams amateur! or maybe lazy! whenever I see certain graphics neglected.

The curve_x.gif images don't properly blend into the white background (the images on either side of the sendmessage.php and login boxes at the top).

I'm not big on any top stats addons such as what you have at the bottom of the page. I've always thought them useless and added unnecessary clutter and resource consumption. That's a personal preference, though.

Despite the above, which is really just nitpicking, the forum seems to be well-trafficked and quite a success. Congratulations!

Thanks for the feedback, I might not have the theme imported and updated properly, I'll check it out.

I did a survey and it seems that no one uses the top stats feature anyhow! Thanks for helping to verify what I was already thinking.

Great idea! I'll work on that during the week, I do that for my corporate gig, don't know why I didn't think about if for this.

seriously, the site is fine. personally I dont like the small font, but thats just me.

The grass is always greener I guess ... Always want more and want to be better each month. I've gotten some great feedback already and I asked my members but only 38 of them responded to my poll so I came to ask the experts on this site!
