Classifieds

Removed by the Author because:
  • For 7 mods, there are 1905 downloads but only 577 clicked installed.
  • For these 577 installs I got 4 donations for Brand Free. Make a simple search on the net using the product name and you'll find that 50% have illegally removed my copyright.
  • I found 3 vb.org style sites, offering for download my mods but after PAID SUBSCRIPTION, or DONATION
After all, I'll stop be the idiot on this market.

Most probably yes, as I'm not using "exotic" vb features. But can't guarantee it as I don't have 3.8.x installed. Works fine with 3.7.x

This error is not depending on the vB version. Just there is no category number (categoryid=), that why you got the database error. What excatly you were trying to do?

I basically followed each of the installation instructions .

The first issue was that the classifieds did not show up in navbar..So I went to http://www.sitename.com/classifieds.php and clicked on "new category" under member menu That's what led to the error. Other links in member menu worked ok.

  1. In the readme.txt file there are instruction on how to add it on NavBar. Also read here the installation instructions.
  2. As for categories. Have you setup categories (and maybe subcategories) from your admincp?
