Extra details when registering
 

Is there any kind of mod that i can put extra fields when a member registers & whats selected gets put in their postbit?

I was going to use it, but i had 2nd thoughts.........

I was going to add several extra fields to insert into postbit but that would make the users postbit all messy wouldnt it?

Depends if you actually need it in the postbit. Add it, have a look at it, then decide.
