I.. like it!

I know exactly what the site is about when I first visit, I think the hot topics section is a great idea, the "time left" is a unique and interesting idea..

That being said, please kill the scrolling marquee. It doesn't fit in, your style looks a bit more modern than one made in '97 when marquees were (unfortunately) popular. To grab a visitors attention, you could throw the message in a js animated block element or something (And I would just put it on forumhome, not all the other pages)

You also have a few default vB icons that I would recommend customizing as well.

And then one more tiny issue.. The huge black block stating that news /announcements will be in that area.. Personally, I just wouldn't have that there if the code isn't ready for it.

LOL kind of depressing site? but its very cool at the same time. my suggestion is move or get rid of the recent activity section at the top.

that along with Hot Topics is too much to scroll through to get to the forum.

thx - the marquee is my least liked aspect. I was worried people wouldn't understand what the site is about. (boom - it's gone! lol)

hopefully people who like dark humor will think the site is funny (though serious)

thanks to both of you for checking it out :)

I added a Pop Quiz section at the bottom. does that look better?

There seems to be some kind of DNS issue. The site can not be found.
