This is a great idea for sure. It will make a difference on my board.

Just a small idea: Why not a icon that gives a small pop-up on quick reply box ? It's pretty common at my board when you're writing a post you need to convert something and thsi would make even more helpful.

Of course, not adding more units but categories as well like temperature, volume and so on.

thats the idea for future changes
and also make it possible for admiin
to set which conversion systems can be used.

Anyway, I'm gonna install this like it is, It's handy on my board.

Another idea (the more I think about this mod the more ideas I have....lol....sorry) but if you make the adding units friendly people here could share their conversion tables each other.

BTW, I was checking you demo and it seems right dropdowns buttons are cutting off on IE7 not a big deal though

It's possible considering the routine Vaupell are using in his mod but currency rates change everyday, so you should edit your reference tables every day to get an independent currency system or you would have to add an external content from a financial institute, bank or something to get currencies updated everyday.

Edit: after this I had an idea and just get together a few pieces around and made a CMPS module for currencies. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=205038
