Is this possible?

Let's say I have 2 different usergroups (level2 and level1).

I posted a thread in the news section. level1 users can't see some part of the threads and shows a message something like ..

or an option that allows me to change the text later.

Then when a level2 user reads that thread, the texts are automatically shown without seeing that message.

Is this possible? Has anyone code this yet? :)

Thank you for reading. It's gonna be a very useful tool.

First, you should really post what your question is about in the thread title. That will help you alot :)

This hack would do what you want to do.

You would just create a bbcode that you want to hide the content of. you could make the tag something like and then anything inside of it would be hidden. It doesn't have the display for the banner, however that would probably be only around 4-5 lines of code to add. Just make it so if it isn't displayed, then display the banner. I bet if you ask in the thread someone would be able to help you with that. The hack I included is for 3.5, however you should be able to find one for your version.

Thank you, that's exactly what I was looking for. :D:up:
