Yes.

Just restore the backup of files and database you made before upgrading.

Alexey? 02-10-2009 10:58 AM

Why do you want to revert to 3.7.4 ?

Alexey? 02-10-2009 11:39 AM

its now matter to me what version
but i dont want 3.8.0
i asked a few of my friends and the say that 3.7.3 is more secure

If you didn't perform the backup, then there is no way to go back.

I wouldn't take your friends assumptions as being correct either.

If you feel that your site is at risk, take further security precautions.

ie...
htaccess protect your admincp & modcp
Install a firewall
Install suhosin
Install modsecurity

Plenty of security solutions to prevent getting hacked.

Your friends are very very wrong.

If you want to use the 3.7 range, then you should at least use the latest stable version: 3.7.5. Several security updates have been released since 3.7.3.

Also there are no known vulnerabilities in 3.8.1 so i don't know why your friends came with this claim (unless they want you to be insecure).

Looks like you need to find some new friends that know something about it.
