505 Errors
how often should one expect to see a 505 error in their forum.. I get them maybe a few times a day, refresh or two always fixes it. But is this a coding error or is this just something to be expected in VB?

No, you shouldn't get this error at all.
What version of apache/iss is running on the server? |
The server your domain resides on currently uses Apache 2.2.11:
root@gator646 [~]# httpd -v Server version: Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) Server built: Feb 7 2009 01:18:20 Cpanel::Easy::Apache v3.2.0 rev4599 I hope this helps.. I am a bit desperate here. |
A 505 is a version not supported. Do you get this with a specific browser or all browsers? Is it just with you or are many people experiencing the error?
The only time you really should see that is if you're using a client that is outdated and the web server doesn't support the version of the http protocol that the client is requesting to use. |
different people get the error not just me. and sometimes it seems to happen a lot and then i run the database maintance and it goes away for a while..
then a week later suddenly it appears a lot |
