Blog Entries if Statement?

I am using a custom theme and would like to show how many blog entries someone has which I have showing with no problem. However, it shows it for everyone, even those with no blog posts. What if statement would I need to wrap it in so it won't show it if the person has no blog posts? Thanks in advance!!
