well organized anouncements
 

hi all

my forum is for students and there are 4 different user groups refering to the four studying years....

now i want to make a well organized announcement system for them....

i mean

i want a hack that can be shown under the header ....devided into 4 columns....to put important links to each group....

it is important too for the hack to be controlled from a control panel ...not with codes ...

i will be very glad to find something like that

Coding it is pretty straightforward - make a template, put the links in there, and then eval the template to be at the beginning of your page. However, you want it to be controlled through the Control Panel which could be a bit more work. How much experience do you have? You can add stuff to the control panel when you are in debug mode and then spit it out in a template. You could write this on a test site and then export it and import it onto your live site.
