quick reply works but gives invisible error
 

When anyone uses the quick reply they type a valid message and hit post, and it posts the message but it gives a "The following errors occurred when this message was submitted" error with no error in the space underneath that. and then an "ok" underneath that.

I disabled all plugins, I'm baffled. any ideas?

Also I'm not really sure if this is the right forum, I couldn't find a better one. I am sorry if it is mods, please don't delete it and just move it for me. I appreciate it.

If you have installed vBSEO, make sure you install the patch provided by them for 3.8.

Create a new style with no parent set. Use this newly created style, does it still fail?

even with a brand new style i still get the error :(

problem may be with the server! try increasing the memory limit in php.ini to 16 or more

upgraded to 3.8
