How did i do this?

On my Admioncp Home page i have additional info like

New Users Today ect...

well its not updating correctly , my stats say 23 new members today but this number says 5

whats the deal?

Are you running 3.7.4? I think it's a bug. Look in the bug tracker and there should be a fix.
