A question for coders: do you keep a list of your paid modifications?

Recently I started with posting coding jobs on vb.org. Contact with the coders made clear that they had coded many modifications in the past, that are not listed anywhere. Some of those hacks are mighty interesting! I never realized that there was such a wealth of undiscovered hacks and addons available for vbulletin.

So I wonder what else I have been missing.

Do you keep a list of the paid modifications that you have created?
Have you published it?
Do you feel that admins are missing out on useful hacks?

Yes, because my clients agreed to.

i usually go random across my clients when someone want a portfolio, but as most of mine are private, i can not display any serious one. for the hacks/codes, i used to have a website lately, where i was releasing all my stuff, but hey, life.. lol

oh, a note, i always have the right to release my work, poor are the clients who decide to pay 3X the job value just for exclusive rights...

i just have a folder of products/plugins on my personal machine. if i was paid for it, i generally don't release it. It's up to the person i built it for to release it if they want to.

I would be very interested in more responses.

If you are waiting for someone to post a list of their commercial modification, then this is useless as it would be considered advertising.

No, I am not. I am just interested to know if many coders keep such a list, to get a faint idea of how many commercial modifications are 'off the map', so to speak.

My contact with only a few coders have shown that these coders have created a large number of commercial modifications for specific clients. It seems that some would make this available to others, but most coders keep the modifications reserved for the client that ordered it. I am interested in the opinion of coders about this. How they approach this.

i could say that it's not always the wish of coders to see their work released or not... if the client pay enough and require the exclusive rights over the job, it's all theirs... so it's not an approach, but a result of hiring a coder instead of requesting a hack in a free release forum.
