image uploading

Hello!
I've noticed that vbulletin comes with default text redactor. And it can't upload images from my hard drive (only web link is accepted).
Will I have an option to change this and upload images from hard drive?

Thank you!

I don't know what a "text redactor" is, so I can't answer your question.

You may configure vbulletin to upload attachments from your hard drive or from a URL or from both.

A text redactor is a text editor ^__^ which you use when writing threads/answers
Can you tell me where exactly it is configured?

Thank you!

Tell you where the text editor is configured? I'm not sure exactly how to answer that question. I can tell you that the users may have three options for the editor (depending on if you allow all three options) - a basic no frills editor, a standard editor with some basic formatting controls, and the WYSIWYG editor.

Where/how is not a question we can answer in Pre-Sales. During Pre-Sales we can only tell if something is possible or not, not how to implement it.

Actually the question is: can i use the "Attachment Manager" to upload directly from my HD.

for your answer, this is a permission based feature. vBulletin have a complete Attachment Manager, where you can decide WHO have access to this feature you require, and all the documentation about this system is readable here: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/attachments

Hm, I actually think he's not referring to the attachment manager, but to the insert image symbol in the toolbar. That only accepts URL.

But of course what he's looking for is the attachment manager, and the functionality he needs is there.
