Hack and Version?
 

I've been thinking about moving my forum to vBulletin. However, there is a hack I need that is essential if I am to move. I did a google search and found the hack on this forum, but it hasn't (seemed to be) updated since vBulletin 3.6. I just checked the official vBulletin site, and they're on 3.8 now.

Would the hack still work as well as it did, even though it's so old?

You can download any version of vBulletin when you purchase a license. So in a sense, you can just install 3.6 on your site. Not recommended though.

It would probably be best to talk to the developer or coder about a specific hack related question though. It may also help if you posted what hack you wanted, maybe a member has the hack on their 3.8

useful information about version support is usually found at the end of the thread. I have just read it, and it looks like it will work when a change to the templates are made (security change).
