Users being re-directed to Login Page...
 

Hi All,
Some of my users reported this problem.

When they try to login with correct User Name & Password, a message displays 'Logging In...' and then they get redirected to forum home page. Again it asks for User Name & Password (It does not display any error message). So, in fact, they can never login because it always redirects to home page.

It happens only for few users.

Have you ever encountered this problem ?
Is there any solution ?

(I am using vB 3.7.2)

They are probably logging in to yoursite.com when you have www.yoursite.com set to be your forum url. Check your forum url in vboptions > general settings and make sure that is the only way to get to your site - ie. if it says www.yoursite.com there, then redirect all yoursite.com traffic to the new url via htaccess of your httpd.conf file

Can you please tell me what exactly to edit for that in my htaccess file ?
