vBulletin staffs, please help me!
 

Hi,
About one year ago, I am the senior student and must prepare for my graduation. I stopped making forum to prepare my graduation better. Now, I graduated with very high score and I am very happy with it. I am back to making forums again but when I was going to create forums, I realize that my vB member account + my email account was hacked. I tried to reset password of my email then reset password of my member account. Lucky me, I could get my email account and my vB account back. But the only thing I am afraid now is that my license is currently point to hacker domain (I see it in my member page). I change the domain assigned to my license and report the hacker domain to vBulletin pirate support but until now, the website is still running. May you check to see if the website is running under my license or not? If yes, please help me to stop the site using my license (they should be suspended or have to buy new license). I will be very thankful of you.

You better give them a live demo of your site and the second which running with your license.

Or better send a ticket from member area ?

Once you have changed the domain on the license. Report the other site to piracy. They will check and handle it, but you will not receive any correspondence.

@ry125: I got my account back but i am afraid that I the hacker is running his site using my license...

@haothiencz: I am afraid that when I create my site using the license, my license will be suspended due to multiple usage of a single license

@Dismounted: I reported the site long time ago but the site is still running. I know it take time for vBulletin Staffs process my report but how long will I have to wait... Because I reported him, can I start using my license? Or I have to wait the hacker stop running his site under my license in order to start my website using my license (this will not violate vBulletin T.O.S).

What I should do now.....? Please help me!

Your license will not be suspended. As long as in the vBulletin Members Area, you put your site URL in the license details.

If you ever find out his website URL, report it for piracy.

Any vBulletin staff here? Please tell me if I can run my website using the license now? I am really afraid of being suspended... $160 is a big wealth to me...

It will if its running his license. I think its in the TOS/AUP that he has to keep the files from being redistributed
