Fantastic Forum all around.. Color sheme very nice, fitting and for me, fairly easy on the eyes. Two very minor things. For me, the index is too long and the advertising 486 banner in the forum, between the nav bar and the main forum, is distracting. Right now, the ad changed to an Itunes, a lime green very bright ad. This lime green takes the readers eyes to away from the main forum, which of course if your trying to make money this is what you want but if you're trying to start/population a forum, this could be a small negative thing. Because your background is so dark, these ads are very visable in that location.

Other than those to minor silly things, I really think your forum is fantastic.

thank you so much. wait, so you mean the ad's colors and location is forcing you not to skip over it and actually read it?

PERFECT!!! LOL. no I agree, it is distracting but they are relatively specific affiliate ads so its not all that random. theoretically, they are ad's targeted towards college age people. ie itunes, e-learning centers, bookstore, etc. maybe I will turn them off until I have more then 3 active posters :D

can I ask, what did you mean by the index is too long?

LOL No I actually don't read it or click on it, just saw the ITUNES logo and then it switched to another ad with a ton of text in which I would never read and then I clicked out of the forum. Also I just noticed that your affiliate ad scroll at the bottom is very jittery, not sure if that is the word I'm looking for, but it kind of hurts my eyes, makes me crossed eyed.. LOL :erm:

Regarding the index, I have to scroll a while to get to everything. Sort of loss interest around "last album pictures". I haven't see VBA used to that extend. I just tried to reload your index twice and it took some time. I have to scroll down considerably to read the latest posts which is difficult in the vertical column. I prefer to read latest post in a center horizontal column but that is just my preference.

One of my favorite things on your forum is the video diary of ASU. That looks really nice. Also on your index, you have videos twice, seems redundant now that I look at it. I would ax the bottom one and the Google safe ads, replace with latest post. (for me please;)) LOL Even though your index has a lot of stuff, I can see that you are a perfectest with having a clean, well aligned forum.

Again, over all I think your forum is great. Gives me a happy feeling.

wow. you have a very successful site....and you only talk about BBall. my site has been an utterly failure. I'm considering rebuilding the whole thing.

but I'm up for any cross promotion you are interested in.

sports/smack always gets alumni and fans to sign up.

your site looks good. It's just a matter of time and it will take off.

thanks hoops. I think I'm going to ditch vbadvanced actually and a cleaner style (asu related of course) on the forums. I think what I have is overkill. going to tone it down.

maybe a few weeks, we can cross link on each others board or something? might get some new members and smack talk goin :D
