Change links
 

I am currently changing some pages on my main site but in my forum a lot of links still go to the old page. Is there anyway I can update all of the links that link to old page to the new page at once?

vbseo does that I think! but you need to pay more for that! I am not sure is there any other things which does the same job try using search option you may end up finding a great mod if you are lucky!

You can add mod_rewrite rules in your .htaccess file to do this. Alternatively, if you have cPanel, it also allows you to add redirections.

Are we talking about links mentioned in posts and topics? I actually have the same question. I am about the move my forum from the root directory to the "forums" directory but there are hundreds of links mentioned by my members which will turn out incorrect obviously.
I do have vBSeo installed but can vBSeo fix my specific problem? If so, I would be very grateful if you could point me to right direction.
