limited mod permissions to ban users
 
it seems that merely being in the moderators user group is sufficient to grant the ability to ban users. is there a way to remove this from moderators?

i've tried removing the ban feature forum by forum, but even though the ban permission is clearly switched off in the individual mod's forum permission they still have the ability to ban users.

strangely when i switch off their ability to edit user profiles in the same forum permission panel they are denied access to that.

Are they in the Super Moderators usergroup or the Moderators?
