Is it possible to set how many attachments is usergroup are permitted to download per day?

Do a search on "attachment*" in "all mods" "titles only" and you'll find this - Limit Attachment Downloads

perhaps i should have been more clear.

That mod is for 3.6.8 & id need it for 3.8

Many modifications made for 3.5, 3.6, and 3.7 will work on 3.8. Just put the modification on your test site and see. Or read the thread and see if people have posted about it working on different versions.
