Is there a vbullletin diet plan? Have you shaken out your keyboard recently? LOL

Man I've spent hours on my forum lately that I think I've gained ten pounds and need glasses. lol.. I just relized that my daughter brought me in a piece of pizza and I ate it while I was working on my forum, didn't even remember eating it. Now I just went to grab for it and it was already gone.. I'm an official hog, BUT becoming vb literate. LOL So I'll soon be a morbidly obese vb coder:) Tee hee

Have you shaken out your keyboard lately? Good lord I must have enough leftovers for a week. LOL

There's no excuse for obesity, and when I say obesity I'm referring to those type that just eat for the hell of it and then gain a few pounds and whine about gaining 20 pounds around their waist. I work near 18 hours a day at the computer but I still put in time to excercise (jogging 5 miles a day) amongst other excercise regimes I've found myself doing for the past 8 years.

There's people who will sit at their computers one day and their loved ones come walking in and find you slumped over your keyboard and theirs those who will take care of their bodies and live a healthy lifestyle. And then their are those who are damn unlucky who'll excercise and do all the right things and find themselves in the hospital breathing through a ventilator and doing prity much nothing.

Atleast we will still have our vb license though and the knowledge it gave us while we were doing all the correct things in life or just pigging out.

Anyway, keyboards, I have a nice logitech keyboard, It's working great and spiffingly clean.

I'm usully pretty active but man since I havn't I'm sure feeling ever new pound. It's so gross and uncomfortable. I started walked about two miles a day, ended up about 10 a day, but since my illness, I will never been able to walk that far or run again. So these extra pounds just makes it worse. I'm glad to have the learning process of vb to distract me from things but this sedentary lifestyle is for the birds.

If your physical health was somehow damage or diminished, don't worry...
but if you spent ur time on vB.org, start worrying about your mental health!

It's quite easy to fall back from a once productive routine. I can't speak personally about falling into a stagnated stage of my life as I have always been a very active person. I'm assuming you have kids? Maybe the motivation you need isfor them as it's so easy to let one month pass by and before you know it it's two years later and your appearing on some discovery channel documentary or playing the part in the latest ghostbusters move as the marshmallow woman going out for revenge on those that deliver your pizzas.

In anycase, If your happy with your body then fair play to you if it's affecting your health do something about it. If not, Find that motivation you need. Damnit, I knew I shouldn't have listened to obama, his speech has rubbed off on me.

*hides from lasto for mentioning obama*

I hear ya Shelley. I wish it was that easy for me, but unfortunately it's not. There is no hope for recovery in my case so I'm stuck in this sedentary life. :erm: of which I'm not accustomed. It's very frustrating. Have you ever watched those shows with people are are 600-800 pounds? I get so frustrated with the family of these people, just stop bringing them food! With my business and four more forums opening soon I keep busy and I'm glad I recognized my tendancy to snack at the computer now rather than 6 months from now and 30 pounds later. When I was in England it was much easier for me to keep fit because people think and shop for food differently. Also Brits walk alot more as well. I also had a beautiful garden while I was there that kept me active as well.

I don't want to shake out my keyboard... I'm sure I wouldn't like what I found in there...

nexialys 01-21-2009 12:34 AM
