Banner Column

I would like to add a third column to all my "read" templates (forumhome, forumdisplay, showthread, etc) along the left side, where I can put in some banners.

I am wondering if there is a mod that will allow me to employ this easily? Rather than going through all the templates, and editing the table html code myself?
