Inner Border Lines in FORUMHOME and FORUMDISPLAY not all showing

1 Attachment(s)
Inner border lines that separate the threads on the FORUMHOME and FORUMDISPLAY page for forums not showing. This only shows in Firefox browser.

I created a new style with no parent. Checked it. Same thing.

I turned off plugins and hooks, reverted the FORUMHOME and FORUMDISPLAY template, reverted main table width and spacer size all back to the original settings. Made no difference.

When I checked the board on my other desk top which is a smaller screen, no problem. Everything looks fine either with everything reverted to original or with plugins and hooks turned on, and mods added back. My usual desktop that I use is a 22 inch widescreen. I checked a couple of other sites where the vbulletin boards are set to stretch from side to side and no problem. Just my site and only on Firefox on the 22 inch widescreen desktop.

I've seen this before but don't remember if there was ever a solution or if it was just the css being wonky for some users on some browsers. It's hard to tell from just an image.

I seen it before also but cannot remember where. Anyone know?

Well, I remember *where* I saw it - I saw a thread about it on vb.com and remember going to the users site and seeing it there. You can try searching for that thread over there.

That's where I first looked and also posted about it but haven't found a solution - yet. Still searching and trying different things.

I did find this http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=282114 . I'll check that out.

Well, I still have the problem with the missing lines. Tried everything I know and they are still missing. Thing that is bugging me is that I have 2 others sites I use vbulletin on and they are ok. Why not this one? What is causing this?

Have you tried exporting a style from a working site and importing it to your non-working site to see if that works?

Just did that and the lines are still missing. I tried doing a reinstall of the 3.8 version and still lines missing. Just can't figure out what is the problem. Sure wish I could fix this. It is bugging me.

That is just too weird..... what happens if you make the border wider - like to 2px or 3px. Will it still not show? (Sorry, I'm as baffled as you on this one.)

Hey Lynn, When I set the Inner Border to 2 px all lines show up BUT where there were no lines before those lines are thinner than the other lines. But this only shows like this on the 22 inch screen. On the small screen all lines look equal. So what does all this mean? Like I said, I have 2 other boards that I have no problem with this.

Seems like the problem would have to be in one of the templates. What templates, that if you changed the code in it, would affect the inner border in both the FORUMHOME and FORUMDISPLAY pages? With it not showing in Firefox correctly but is showing in the other browsers there is a possibility that when I added on code for some mod that something was left out or not done correctly causing the problem. hmmmmmmm

In looking just now at the style I created with no parent, the FORUMHOME page looks fine but some lines to the inner border are still missing on the FORUMDISPLAY page. With it affecting all styles that I have could it be a plug in?
