How to display attached Images at any place in a thread ?
 

Is it possible to put attached Images in a post on every place you want the image to be (in the text) and not just below the post in a attachment row ?

Just use the image tags [IMG]http://yoursite.com/picture.gif [IMG]

or click on the little mountain and yellow sky icon in the text editor box and just include the url of your image ;)

Yes.....

If I wanted to insert an image within this post for instance immediately after this text, I would at this point upload the attachment in the normal way you have already discovered.

Then click on this icon Attachment 92886 to place it here.
It's next to the smiley face in the message editor.

It is now displayed within the text rather than below.
