Mysql database cleanup

Is there any way other than going thru it totally by hand to clean a database back to the original tables.
Thanx

You could create a new empty forum and use ImpEx to transfer the data. But this will change all your links so older search results will not work anymore.

^ that would suck....

i have to update to mysql5 asapppp cause im getting some errors now smh

Maybe we can give a better advise if you post the errors you are getting.

PS Upgrading MySQL would not be related to the contents/data of the database.

a couple users on my board are getting that when tryin 2 access one section....

now when i go to change my avatar, it works but at the top of the screen it gives me this code:

Warning: tempnam() [function.tempnam]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File() is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/crack:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in [path]/includes/class_dm_userpic.php on line 204

Is that the entire DB-error?

And the 2nd error has nothing to do with the database. It indicates you have not correctly setup your settings. Please consult your host for the correct open_basedir settings.

well marco that is the whol error the user on my site is getting
Warning: mysql_query() [function.mysql-query]: Unable to save result set in [path]/includes/class_core.php on line 408 Database error

Is this with all modification disabled and using only the default vB files? If so, please open a support ticket.
