Uploaded Images lose their transparency??
 

Everytime I upload an image regardless if it is an avatar or signature the background turns white instead of carrying over the transparency. It does not do this if I insert a picture into a post though. Does anyone know why it is doing this?

My guess (because I ran into a similar problem this morning) is that if you have the picture going through the automatic resizer, it'll convert it to another format. My images were losing their animation (they were .gifs). I solved the problem by widening the maximum pixels so the resizing wasn't necessary.
