I need thumbnails
 

I need one critical feature, I believe simple to implement or maybe already implemented but that I was unable to find in your manual (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/).
I believe that this functionality would be loved by great many webmasters.
I need thumbnails displayed by index.php and forumdisplay.php (or at least by forumdisplay.php)


As it is now, index.php shows these icons:

<img title="Contains New Posts" alt="Contains New Posts" border="0"> Forum Contains New Posts <img title="Contains No New Posts" alt="Contains No New Posts" border="0"> Forum Contains No New Posts


and forumdisplay shows smaller icons also indicating status of each thread.

This is all fine, but I need one more column added there, on each row show a thumbnail of the first image attached to the first post in each thread. If the first post in the thread doesn't have any image attached, display no_image icon or nothing.

The new forum is all about images and video, multimedia. We have massive disk space and I'm well aware that it wil guzzle a lot of computing power. No prob with that.
We'll have images (up to 100 images per post, 2MB filesize limit) in 99% of all thread starting posts. So I want thumbnails displayed by forumdisplay.php.



Now, there's one more idea and that I know it's kinda sci-fi dream, but you guys might be able to make it happen.
Just imagine that people attach images (JPG) and videos (WMV, Divx AVI). The dream is that you click on the video and it gives you an option to download the file or play it like at You Tube. THAT would be GREAT.

both are already by default in vBulletin...

and with a simple addon, you can display the first thumbnail of each thread in the threadlist of forumdisplay.php.

Existence of exactly this add-on made me decide to buy vBulletin.
