Clickable link to alter user's style
i have several members asking to make my site more phone browser compatible. i have found styles that work well, but my problem is that some members (primarily blackberry users) cannot change the style via the quick style chooser. when they highlight a different style and attempt to change it the request is not sent to the website.
how would i go about adding a clickable link to my footer that could change a user's style id? i do not wish to force all mobile users to a particular style, as each phone's browser is different. any help would be appreciated. --------------- Added [DATE]1231987723[/DATE] at [TIME]1231987723[/TIME] --------------- never fails. ask a question, and find the answer 5 minutes later. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...ght=quickstyle |
I believe there was also a solution around before the detected which browser was being used, and if it was a mobile version it would force the mobile skin. Now where that is I'm not sure but you could try searching.
It might not work 100% of the time but it's something to consider. |
