Adsense Integration

Unfortunately all the fears are true and Ray Morgan accepted that ( Jelsoft Product Manager ) IB can track users adsense statistics who associated their account with vBulletin.

As thisis a huge privacy concern i still cannot understand how Jelsoft can go this far and adopt a feature that gathers your site statistics without your knowledge.

How do you guys feel about this and as Ray Morgan stated this is just the beginning on Google implementation and what do you think about the future of Google Implementation

Disingenuous is the word that springs to mind.

It's a worry that future features in vb will be dictated by what's good for ib not what's good for vb customers. Made me laugh that justification for the feature was that 'dozens of customers asked for it' when there are features that have been requested since 3 by hundreds of people that have never been implemented.

In my opinion, this is and outrageous invasion of business privacy and should be against the law.

Interesting that you word it this way:

You do have knowledge of it, you have to select the option and several other steps, including downloading the package designed to do it. Don't like it? Don't use it.

Isn't there enough threads posted about this already?

You can always edit the source yourself and change what you don't like...or better yet code your own.

If you don't do either of the above two can you really complain how someone else did it?

There is no use in having the same discussion on multiple boards/threads. Please use the forums on vB.com to discuss this issue, as that is also the only place where you can get answers regarding this topic.
