Sharing Plugins with Custom Hooks
I have never shared my customizations before but I have a plugin I made that I have seen a few requests for on this forum. I understand how to make my own plugins, but I don't understand the proper format for sharing a plugin that has a custom hook. Will users have to edit the .php file and insert the custom hook manually, or is there a way to insert it automatically through the use of a product/xml file?

Since hooks are nested in the php files, the php files themselves will have to be edited.
