Large images are causing my Forums to break apart. Help!

I'm wanting to use a Fluid style skin for my boards but when I post large image it completely breaks outside of the normal posting area.

I'm wanting it to make the images automatically fit within the normal posting range. (While also constraining proportions) How can I get my forums to automatically do this?

Thanks in advance.

a slim vertical image set for repeat in css eksample on my site i got some repeats
the site can go from around 600width to well i only got max 3300ish pixel wide
and still look the same.. i achive this by locateing where it streches

and add -- EXSAMPLE -

Code:
url(images/styles/Evi38_2009_Pirate/misc/nailed_planks3.gif) repeat top leftif you see my website, HERE and resize it, and pay attention to the planked background
you notice it "moves" or realigns all the time = repeats.

That is what you need, locateing where to place the code is a bit more tricky,
but first you need a "vetical" image matching the colors to both left and right of the
GAP!

The posts that I'm having trouble with are the "NEW RELEASE" posts within the "News and New Releases" Forum.

Maybe I meant to say Fixed? Well, whatever it is I'd like to know how to fix the problem. :)

use that, and set the max width of the images so it doesn't cause them to break your layout
