Strange Issue With Post Bit. Centered On Safari, Mozilla, Chrome, Opera, NOT IE
For some reason, user names on my forum on Internet Explorer are not centered. Here is an example:
http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=s3o9aw&s=5 Ive tested on Safari, Mozilla, Opera, and Chrome and everything is fine, but for some reason IE just doesnt center it. I wasnt aware until one of my Admins pointed it out, so it must have been just recently. Any help is appreciated. |
Internet explorer can be a +++++.
Depending on what code you used it may or may not behave the same way in internet explorer as it does in other standard compliant browsers. Any idea what version of IE it was, and can we see the postbit template? |

Your HTML is outdated.
There are various <center> tags as well as <font> which are both devalued. Browsers do not have to support these tags. I believe you'll be able to fix at least the name in your usergroup templates. There is a <span> applied before and after the username, in the span add 'style="width:100%; text-align: center"' which should give it a slightly more up to date format. |
