Tag search doesn't work right--threads redirect to front page

Anyone know what's wrong? My tagsearch template is unmodified from the default.

Check the templates that are used there and make sure they were updated for 3.8. To find the templates - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code.

I'm using 3.7. I don't currently have access to the "General Options" part of admincp and the guy who does is never around. Here are the templates that are showing out-of-date:

Could one of those be the problem? It doesn't seem like it to me from looking around.

The forum has had a lot of custom hacking done and I don't want to mess with something if it doesn't need to be messed with.

I don't think it's any of those. I would guess the threadbit template (that's what it is for me) only my page source looks different than your page source right there. I'd lok to see if that one has been modified.

I reverted my threadbit code in a test style and it didn't fix the problem.

Try disabling your plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

OK, I created a new non-user-selectable style called "Standard VBulletin" that didn't inherit from any other styles. It still had the same problem.

Looks like it's not a template problem.

OK, I will try doing this tonight when there aren't a lot of users on.

Figured out the problem was caused by Zoints SEO. Is there an updated version of this for 3.7? Any kind of quick fix?

For support with a specific modification - please see the modification author, or have a look in the modification thread. AFAIK, support from the author of Zoints SEO was dropped a long time ago.
