spam has been killing me
 

hi every one in the last few days i have been getting about 35 new users all spam any thing i can do about it runny VB 3.8 i do have no spam installed but is there a way i can stop them from registering thanks i also do use human verification

Which Human Verification do you use? Try reCAPTCHA, if you are not already using it. Also, have a look at the other threads on this topic (there are plenty).

Try the Is Bot Mod that stops all registrations that occur in seconds, Just like the spambots.

Real Human Registration take a few Minutes so all registrations that take seconds are excluded.

Guest tracking mod is also a good way to see what guest are doing and what they are looking at.

Thers no excuse now to have a site full of spammers, You can get all the answers and some great advise from the members here

No there can be no excuse to having a forum full of spammers ;)

I just use the vbulletin Q&A feature. Stopped all bots.

Q&A with 50 questions here. Went from 40 spammers a day to 0 literally overnight.

I have 2 or 3 questions only. Just be clever with them.
