I'm looking for an honest set of opinions. Specifically first impressions and we seem to have trouble getting sign ups.

Soccerlove is a fairly new football (soccer) forum that aims to give its members an interesting place to discuss Football. I have some plans to expand the site, with a main site and an article team who would provide weekly roundups of all the major world leagues.

Hello Soccerlove

First I always like the clean look of this particular Complete VB Skin. I think you've done a great job in not having a ton of distracting advertising. The forum looks clean and well laid out.

Just a few things.

The heart logo looks a bit homemade but nice. Probably should add a soccer ball as well?
The rest of the header to the right looks plain, needs something.
The "old" , "New" status icons... Ehhh. to me the word "old" has a negative feel, especially with there is a lot of them at one time down the board. Maybe soccer balls with a heart in the middle? Have the heart turn red when there is a new post? Grey for none. Just a thought. Or just a plain soccer ball, colored when new post, grey when no new post? Right now, when I view them again, they remind of ET wearing big glasses. :D

When I click on your site and see the word soccer but hardly any soccer balls except on some advertising to the right and bottom.

By the way, I'm a big Manch United fan:)

I have had a lot of people say they liked the logo, however i agree that we could use a ball, or even some text going over the top to sell it as a football site logo. Same with the forum icons. I'll add those to my to do list.
