Frontpage, vbindex, etc - what are the best for 3.5.2
 

Hello All,

I've been out of the loop for awhile. I remember a few years ago, there was a mod called vbindex that was a great frontpage for the forum itself; I'm looking for something similar, or even a News section. Something that allows for content in the root directory that leads to the forum discussion.

Can anyone recommend anything?

Yes, vBAdvanced is about the best that you are going to find. I'm not positive, but with Inferno Technologies nowhere to be found, vBAdvanced might be the only well-known and supported front page generating modification out there.

By the by, if you are currently running vBulletin 3.5.2, I strongly recommend that you upgrade to at least vBulletin 3.6. I'm not even sure if vBAdvanced would be compatible with vBulletin 3.5.2.
