AdminCP

Hi everyone,

If i wanted to put some quick link menu tabs in my AdminCP Home Page, (Same as here https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=200686) to enable me to quickly go to certain functions which i do on a regular regualr basis, where can i add them to??

The beauty of this is that i'll be able to just click on the tabs, as oppose to 3, 4, or more clicks to go from one function to another.

I looked in the admincp directory and found the index.php, could i add them to the top of that, idea i would like them all to show on the very top of each page in the admincp, but not sure of which file i'd have to put the code.

Anyone have any ideas

Thanks :D

I would not go play with tabs etc in the AdminCP. 1 mistake and you can not get into your ACP anymore.

Why not just use the menu on the left hand side?

Hi Marco

Same reason we all make mods to better our experiance of Vbulletin :D

Quick links would be far better as then i could View New Registrations, Style Template Edits, RSS, in fact there are quite a few areas i'd like to access with one click as oppose to 3 or 4 or more

Any file that i edit to add my tabs in the admincp will be copied, and the file edited from with cpanel, at least i would have my back up and the means to correct any errors ;)

I just feel that the forums get a lot of new mods and the admincp is the one thats left out.

All i need to know is, to add my tabs to the admincp would i edit the index.php from with the admincp directory??

So all i want to do is to know which file i would need to edit to place my tabs in the Admincp homepage.

Thanks :)

I really don't know what you should edit for this. Never looked into trying such a thing as i don't think it is the best way to go.

It would be easier to add a new box to the left-hand frame that contained all your links.
There's really no way to propagate your navigation to the top of all acp pages -- quickly anyways.
