All IP Addresses Blocked

Greetings..I have been a long time lurker here. I need some help. I have a owned lic and my site is; e20-lrp-c75-rgr.org

I, nor no one else(members), can log into the site. Redirect window says " Your IP address has been blocked".

It appears I have been hacked, but not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

In your database make sure your group ID is admin.

I tried looking over on vb.com for a solution here and the threads I came up with all said to put in a Support Ticket. I'm not sure what else to suggest (except to futz around in your database which isn't a good thing for someone who is unfamiliar with doing things directly to the database.)

You should also talk to your host. Someone either got access to your database/server and you need to plug that security hole.

You may have banned by universal selector in the banning options (ie. * or some form of this), which could ban everyone.

To clear it out look in the table 'TABLE_PREFIX . setting' and search for varname = 'banip' and grouptitle = 'banning'. Under value will be a list of all banned IP addresses, look through them and make sure there isn't a misplaced universal selector, if there is, clear it out and save.

Changing only the setting table would not work as settings are stored in cache.

So what does work?

How do we unblock ip's outside of vb admin panel?

We accidentally blocked ours somehow.

Is there a way to do it through myphpadmin, ftp or cpanel at our host?

You can use phpmyadmin to edit the settings table (where varname='banip'), then upload tools.php to your admincp folder (you can find that file in the "do not upload" folder of the distribution). Then in your browser go to admincp/tools.php, enter your customer number, then click on "Options Cache" to update the datastore. Remember to remove tools.php when you finish.

It is actually possible to edit the datastore table directly (where title='options'), but it's stored as a serialized array, so you have to understand that format before trying that.
