A little error in the code - please help

My site is www.singaporedice.com/forum

I just inserted:

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="forum">Forum Home</a></td>$template_hook[navbar_buttons_left]

Then when I am in a thread and click on "Forum Home" I get:

http://www.singaporedice.com/forum/forum

So odd. Please anyone . I must have done something wrong.

It's not working. I am taken to the main site www.singaporedice.com. And that is not what I want.

I want when I click on Forum Home I am taken to www.singaporedice.com/forum

Please advise. I am almost there I know it.....
