include vbulletin rss2 subforum feeds (new threads) in non vB page without url_fopen
 

Has anyone converted this lean simply way of inserting new threads (title, link, description) in non vBulletin pages (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=159044) from using url_fopen to cURL for servers where url_fopen has been disallowed?

I made some changes to this code (sorry i'm not a developer, just a newbie) for my board and it works, about your question "using url_fopen to cURL for servers where url_fopen has been disallowed" i'm not sure at all due i'm running a normal Cpanel plan and i didn't change the "default" settings of it (sorry again, i'm newbie). If this may help you here you have what i did: Include some entries from vBulletin on non vb pages?
