Forum won't delete
 

I have a forum that I used for archives for old posts. It has alot of posts in there. (threads: 14,892 ; posts: 163,090)

For some reason, my VB will NOT delete this forum as a whole. I have tried to delete the threads individually but it only lets me select maybe like 20 at a time and it will take forever (it's 700+ pages to do it that way). And sometimes when it does let me, it gives me a database error since it takes up so many queries and its maxed out on my server.

Any reason why VB won't let me just delete the forum??

What is the error vBulletin gives you when you try to delete a forum?

Just delete the forum. If it times out, repeat until it completes.

It just sits there, I go to choose delete it, confirm it and then it just sits on a blank page like its working to delete it, but never does.

Disable plugins and modifications first before trying to delete it, or shut your forum off wait a few minutes then try again.

It sounds like your server isn't able to process it.

If it goes to a blank page - that is an indicator that the page has timed out. See Marco's reply.

I just did all of this. I unabled all my hacks/plugins, turned my board off and now have the same database error on my server.
