hide styles unless..

I want this done, soon. I'm not sure how many could help, but yes, it is somewhat a big project.

I want it so on my website, if you're on any page, you can only view the Default Style. Since my site is a vBulletin Style selling site, most people like to preview the styles before you buy them, so I will have a preview page, where they access it, it has the default style already up, with the list of all styles, that they can click on, and it will go to the testing page with that specific style (testing page is a forum category, where users can test out the new styles).

But, the catch is, once they go back to the main pages, they must revert back to the default style. So for this part, I guess I'll just add a link called "Leave Testing Zone" in each style, and have it redirect to the default style, and general sections.

If anyone can make this, it'd be greatly appreciated!

(So I don't want any styles accessible, unless in testing zone)

I'm going to give it a shot myself, but it probably won't work.

Moved to requests.

You could create a plugin that will set the default style if using the main URL.

That's all I need now, I figured out the rest. I just now need it so no matter how you go back to the main page, you're set to default style.

How could you do this Marco?

Also, I have a few links that link to the homepage... Instead of having it link to http://www.trasion.com/ should I link it to http://www.trasion.com/?styleid=4, so people going there by a link are automatically set to default?

No.

Create a plugin. Check the URL that is opened. If on main forums: reset styleid to default, otherwise leave as it is.

Never made a plugin before.. Could you tell me how? :p
