Jump to first unread post
 

This is probably a simple fix but I have had no luck figuring it out. I am trying to set the board up so that when a user sees that there is a new post in a forum, they click on that forum, then click on the thread with the new post, they are then taken to the bottom of the page where the newest post is. Currently they are taken to the top of the thread.

I am trying to avoid changing the display preferences so that newest posts are at the top - I want to keep it where newest posts are still at the bottom but the user does not have to scroll down the entire page to see it. Any help would be much appreciated.

I understand I would have to modify the threadbit template but not sure what needs to be done.
