Purpose of Blogs?
 

Hey Guys and Gals,

I just have a stupid question. Are these blogs an add on to existing forums? And won't this deter from posting to the forum itself?

Blogs are an add-on to the forums. And no, it won't deter, because blogs will mostly be people talking about off topic subjects, often nothing to do with your forum, and are a more like a personal journal for each user.

i use blogs at my forums, members like them :D
