Where to upload style files
 

Hey guys - I really hope this is the last obvious question I have to ask.

I've downloaded a new style for my vB board but I'm not really sure where I need to upload everything to. The readme file simply says to upload the files to my forum directory.

I think all the files are scattered around different folders on the server, rather than all being located in one central theme folder - is this correct?

For upload I appear to have:

-a theme xml file
-a folder named upload in which there are two further folders:
- one named clientscript
- one named images

I know the answer is probably blindingly obvious but I could find any real answers from the vB help docs. Thanks in advance for any help/pointers.

Hello..

Just follow the file structure in the upload file:

Files in the clientscript folder go to the clientscript folder on your webserver, and so on and so on.

Then when you've uploaded all the files, go to styles & templates in your admincp, then download/upload styles, then import the xml file from there.

I'd strongly advise backing up of all your files before doing anything, if you're not 100% sure on what you're doing... It's saved my neck a few times! :)
