How would i edit the promotion cron from 1 hour and update it to 5 mins?

I'm pretty sure the task is bundled into one script with other things, so it wouldn't be possible without splitting the file.

You can go to scheduled tasks and either hit update now on promotions or edit it to the time you want. Not sure if that's what your looking for but I just did this a few days ago when I did my new promotions.

AdminCP > Scheduled Tasks > Scheduled Task Manager

Select EDIT from the dropdown menu next to the User Promotions task and select GO.

You only have 6 options to choose when to run it so the most you can set it is every 10 minutes. (see pic)
