Attachment file size limits
 

I have it set so that reg. members can upload jpgs of up to 253KB (according to the upload attachment popup) or 260000 in the attachment permissions screen of the ACP.

One of my members is complaining that they can't upload attachments. They keep getting an error saying that their file is too large. Using the "log in as user" hack, I've tried it myself and confirmed it. I tried a 16KB jpg and it says that the file is over the limit by 5.8KB. A 60KB file results in an error of being over by 12.6KB.

I can't really disable my mods because then I won't be able to log in as the user to check...

Meanwhile, using my admin account, I can upload/attach the same files with no issues whatsoever.

What's going on here? Some permission somewhere that I'm not aware of?

Nevermind, I got it.

The individual file size was fine but the usergroup limit for all attachments per user was only set to 1000 (really low default value if you ask me). Once I bumped up the usergroup limit, everything worked fine.
