New Critical Problem!!

search option of my forum is not working....for testing i have searched post which i have posted but it keeps on saying
Code:

1. Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search : glossy, red, icon.....

in vbulletin option there is a search type link.

it says:
Code:

Your forum is currently using the Fulltext search engine.

If you wish to revert to the vBulletin search engine, please continue. You can leave the Fulltext indexes in place if you expect to return to the Fulltext search in the near future. Leaving them in place will cause added load on your system in the interim.
Remove Fulltext Indexes

what should i do???
can any one help....

glossy red icon
i have a post same name

red is probably too short a word. Remove the word red and try the search again.

well i have tried many words....not only me i got complains from member about this problem....

Lynne 12-23-2008 08:54 PM

But, are the complaints always based on someone using a three letter word? If you want to use three letter words, you probably have to recompile mysql to allow it. Otherwise, you'll have to use the vbulletin search engine and then you can set it to allow three letter word searches.
